Terms
These terms cover the use of startyourcoffeeshop.com and the purchase of the Start Your Coffee Shop course and related products, sold by Nick Kassouf ("I", "me"). By buying or using them, you agree to these terms.
What you're buying
- The Course ($400): access to nineteen video lessons and their companion documents, hosted on Thinkific, for as long as the course is offered, plus any updates to it. "Lifetime access" means the life of the course, not yours; if I ever retire the course, you'll get at least 90 days' notice and the ability to download the companion documents.
- Course + Call ($750): everything above, plus one thirty-minute video or phone call with me, scheduled through the link provided after purchase, to be used within six months of purchase. Reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice; a no-show counts as the call.
- Full Build-Out Guidance: listed for reference and not currently offered. Nothing on the site constitutes an offer to provide it.
License
Your purchase is a personal, non-transferable license to watch and use the materials for your own planning. Don't share your login, redistribute the videos or documents, or use them to build a competing course. The content is copyrighted and remains mine.
Refunds
If the course isn't what you expected, email nick@startyourcoffeeshop.com within 14 days of purchase and I'll refund it in full, no questions. After 14 days, no refunds. The call portion of Course + Call is non-refundable once the call has taken place.
What this is and isn't
The course is education based on my own experience opening and running coffee shops. It is not legal, financial, tax, or professional advice, and it isn't a guarantee of any result. Costs, permits, and regulations vary by location and change over time; verify anything that matters with a licensed professional in your area before acting on it. Opening a business carries risk, and the decisions and outcomes are yours.
Requesting the free guide subscribes you to a short email series and occasional later messages. Every message has an unsubscribe link.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, my liability to you for anything arising from the site or the course is limited to the amount you paid. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business losses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Orange County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.
